This summer has been very busy for me! So much for retiring from the Postal Service — I still have to check my calendar everyday to keep track of everything that’s going on. My husband had major surgery at the end of June, I have entered two quilts in the California State Fair competition, restored a baby quilt from barely hanging together to nearly new looking, and have made 7 quilt tops into finished quilts for customers.
Below are the pictures of the quilts entered in the State Fair. The Old Tree got 2nd Place in Small Pieced Quilts, and the Other Side of the Coin (round) got honorable mention in Miniature Quilts.

And here are some photos of quilts completed for clients:
Coming up soon:

I will have a booth featuring 3 new patterns, some quilting kits, and ink-jet printed fabric panels. Come on by McClellan Conference Center near Sacramento, CA, and check out their wonderful show.
Just look up the guild online for specific info. Hope to see you there – mention my blog for a free gift!
